An Established Haiku Mentor for the World

Alan Summers is a Japan Times award-winning author who has been studying and writing haiku and Japanese poetry for over 25 years. I first corresponded with Alan online on Haiku Nook Google+, a private forum dedicated to sharing haiku and its related forms, such as tanka, haiga, shahai, and haibun. Over the course of several years, Alan has provide expert guidance, support, and encouragement to many people in the haiku community on an international scale. He currently offers haiku courses, through his organization, Call of the Page: https://www.callofthepage.org/  and teaches people residing in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, India, and other English-speaking corners of the world. Alan has an MA in Creative Writing from Bath Spa University.

If you would like to learn haiku from a well-respected teacher with over 25 years of experience, I encourage you to contact Karen Hoy and Alan: https://www.callofthepage.org/contact/ or directly by email at: admin@callofthepage.org

In addition to his online courses at Call of the Page, Alan has been published widely and has edited and published haiku books as well.
