Hybrid: Barriers to Writing with Mary Robinette Kowal

Join the Vancouver Chapter on Zoom or in person at Three Creeks Community Library on Monday, January 13 @ 6:30 pm, for a class on what keeps people from writing. The barriers to be addressed are less about problems with the story and more about all the external things. It’ll cover environmental factors, mental health, and tricks for navigating your way back to writing. Come and kick off your 2025 writing year with this powerful and practical class with Mary Robinette Kowal! If you’re attending in person, we welcome you to join us at 6:00 pm for cookies and connections. See you on January 13!

About your chapter meetings

Willamette Writers meetings are open to all writers, 18 and up. Young writers are encouraged to join our Young Willamette Writers meetings. We look forward to seeing you there!

Willamette Writers is the largest writers organization in the Pacific Northwest. Willamette Writers Chapters are local writing communities where writers improve their craft and acquire the career skills required in today’s publishing world.
